What is Chem Club?

Chem Club is a group for science students especially those taking chemistry and biochemistry courses. But Chem Club is open to everyone so don't feel discouraged. We are a fun loving group offering many social activities such as Laser Quest, pumpkin exploding, and our ever popular end of term party.

Our lounge (C2-172) offers a relaxing and fun place for students to study, play euchre, and socialize. The club has several subscriptions to scientific magazines, a textbook library, a small canteen with snacks and some of the most inexpensive beverages on campus. There is also a sink, microwave, toaster, kettle, and fridge available for students. So next time you’re in the area stop by C2 172! (right across from the Friesen computer lab).

Usually there are meetings held in the chem lounge every Thursday at 5:45 (not for the spring term) so come by if you’re free. Join our group on facebook to receive messages about events and other cool stuff.
